Axelle Gosse, a Belgian artist with a passion for fabrics, one day decided to take up rope work. She finds the inspiration for her work through her many travels: "Here and elsewhere, everything is linked for me. I see the same thing, I feel the same sensations. I'm never disorientated by anything tropical, and seeing spring arrive here always moves me in the same way. The interplay of rope movements of different thicknesses and colours allows her to express her passion for the beauty of an imaginary world, ranging from Latin America to Africa and India.
